Le Manoir d’Etainnemare
For more than a century, Etainnemare Manor(Etoutteville)belonged to a local family who made their fortune in the textile industry. The Manor’s current configuration dates back to the beginning of the 20th century. The domain includes the main building of 9,000 sq ft and eight outbuildings (stables, coach house, lodge keeper’s house etc). The stable, completely renovated by local artisans, is now a hall used for exhibitions, concerts and conferences. It seats 100. The excellent acoustics allow for professional recordings.
For concerts, we are developing a partnership with the Orleans International Piano Competition (OCI) and its director Isabella Vasilotta, as well as with the Terres de paroles (Earth Lyrics) festival and its director Marianne Clévy. Once again we will be welcoming resident pianists who will fashion a program on our concert piano, a Toyo (Japanese) from the eighties. Its sonorous bass and round timbre have delighted both pianists and audience during the first season.
